1. Quotes and Scope

Quotes are based on information available at the time and remain subject to site access, safety and conditions that were not reasonably visible. Work outside the written scope is not undertaken or charged without approval. Guide prices on the website are indicative; the accepted written quote controls.

2. Customer Responsibilities

You must provide safe, lawful and timely access to the property, disclose known hazards, obtain any landlord, body corporate or owner permission, keep people and animals away from work areas when requested, and follow written after-care instructions.

3. Wildlife and Method Limitations

Services are performed subject to Victorian wildlife law, species identification, animal welfare and site conditions. Apex may change or decline a method where it would be unsafe, unlawful or likely to trap or injure wildlife. Ringtail possums and other protected wildlife may require referral or specific authority.

4. Access and Building Conditions

Apex is not responsible for pre-existing deterioration, concealed defects, fragile roofing, asbestos, unsafe electrical conditions, structural movement or damage unavoidable when using access specifically authorised by the customer. Destructive access requires approval and building repairs outside the agreed proofing scope remain the owner’s responsibility.

5. Payment

Payment is due as stated on the quote or invoice. Overdue amounts may incur reasonable recovery costs to the extent permitted by law. Nothing excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Cancellation and Attendance

Please provide reasonable notice if an appointment must change. A reasonable fee may apply to late cancellation, unsafe access or attendance where no authorised person can provide access, if disclosed beforehand.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability for a service that fails a statutory guarantee is limited to re-supplying the service or the reasonable cost of doing so, where that limitation is fair and lawful. Apex is not liable for indirect loss, loss arising from ignored advice, new animal entry, or events beyond reasonable control.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
